It was always nice to not have to contend with acne as a teenager, developing it in my adult life was a tough card to be dealt. Having adult acne gave me some facial scars and it is never pleasant to have wounds or redness on your face, where hiding it can be more difficult or the products that do hide the issue create the environment to make it even more inflamed.
This soap has helped me for a lot of years, initially I learned about Cleopatra's Choice because of their amazing prices on pure Shea Butter but one order I also included a bar of this soap and was thrilled at my rapid results and noticable improvement.
Now, if I meet a teenager suffering from acne, it is very easy to give away a bar of this product and also show the person suffering that there is help available that works. Usually I get a call from a parent expressing gratitude and a request for info on where to order more. In a world filled with negativity, giving a glimmer of resolution to preserve a young, fragile ego or possibly promote better self esteem is a no-brainer for me and the reward to my heart is priceless.
In reading other comments the "mushy" soap has an easy fix. The cheap budget stores like Dollar Tree carry inexpensive soap dishes or buying a section of loofah and cutting a piece to set this soap on to dry is both inexpensive and effective. That mushy stage presents a way to possibly increase bad bacterial growth which definitely doesn't help the open wounds of acne so protecting that bar of soap is important and easily resolved plus being inexpensive.
