Every person
is unique and therefore a unique skin care
regimen is import for each individual. The
face should be cleansed, non abrasively, twice
a day in order to remove dead cells, clean
out pores, and encourage healthy, new skin
growth. The body should be cleaned with a
natural, non fragranted soap. Eat healthy
foods rich in Vitamin C and E while making
sure to exercise regularly. These are the
ingredients to youthful, vibrant looking skin
but it's up to you to find out what methods
work best for you. Don't forget to refer to
one of our other tips pages for techniques
more specific to your type of skin like dryness
or oily skin.
Things to remember:
When showering,
don't use water that is too hot because it
can dehydrate your skin without you realizing
it. Also, using body soap on the face can
leave a film of deodarant or fragrance which
can dry out your skin.
After exercising
make sure to shower off excess sweat which
can clog pores and create rashes or outbreaks.
In the long run sweating is a good way to
clean toxins out of your pores though.
Always rinse
off make up at night and make sure to use
oil free foundation if you have a problem
with acne. Wearing make up too much or wearing
it for too long will interfere with your pores
natural need to clear themselves out and breathe
which leads to increasingly unhealthy looking
skin.
Eat healthy foods
and exercise regularly. You skins health is
a reflection of your overall health. Make
sure to stay away from smokers and try not
to drink to excess. It's a good idea to try
and keep your liver healthy because the liver
is what filters toxins from your blood. This
will also keep your skin looking healthier.
