Best find this month. It's keeping me moisturized this winter when nothing else was. 5 stars, and it goes well with the dudu osun soap that i got. I travel to dallas recently and i been getting lot of good compliments on my skin...and i used it on my hair n omg its heavently softttttttttt....i had bad under eye dark circles nothing had made it lighter but honestly this raw shea butter did it ...its much more lighter and pleasant now than it was before I have recommend this to one of my girldfriend in a different country and she is soo in love with it I would defitnely recommend this product ... My daily cleanse routine. ... Dudunosun (cleanser) pure rose water (toner) and raw shea butter ( moisuturizer) my skin is happy :)

Like many other hand lotions that leave you feeling greasy and coated after you apply it to your skin that is not so with African Shea butter that dissolves in minutes while just rubbing it with your finger tips and applying it to your arms and other problem areas that are sometimes very dry after you get out of the shower and dry yourself off with a towel. I would recommend this product to others who are looking for the ultimate in skin care lotion at an affordable price.

The Shea butter really works wonder on my skin, it feels baby bottom soft aft applying, the black soap I use to ,doesn't dry out my skin and the fragrance isn't bad either,

This stuff is great! Had I known how wonderful it would be I would have gotten the larger tub. I just scrape it from the container with my fingernail and rub in between the palm of my hands and it melts like butter. I use it on my hair mostly but it's great for your skin as well! I've used it on the particularly dry areas on my body, like my elbows and hands and it works great! It moisturizes all day without being oily.

Not your "typical" soap. Çleans and leaves skin silky soft. Great for dry, itchy skin.

I luv the shea butter,,,it work for dry skin, cracking heel on your feet or any eczema problem,,,,I also recommend this product for my friend.

Shea butter is excellent for dry chapped skin! Also when I have come in contact with poison ivy I wash my skin thoroughly with African Black soap and than put Shea butter on the area. Blessings of blessings, it is gone by the next morning!

I use this thrice a week when i need good hydration, it makes the skin smooth. Also nongreasy so works well on my oily skin. I also use it on my hair which gives it a healthy glow.

I have Sjogren's Syndrome. My skin is so dry. This is very conditioning. I have purchased many tubes of this.

I purchased this same 8 ounce but in ivory. I couldn't seem to find it on here to right a review on it so I'll happily do so here. This was SO fun to make! It reminded me of soft fluffy mashed potatoes after giving it a good mix with my other essential oils. I wanted to eat it that's how good it looked lol. It's like a smooth butter for the hair, my 4 year old son absolutely adores it and wanted to help me mix it. He told my mom when she asked "It's hair butter Nana, see :)" I love it! She shows you how to make a GREAT flaxseed gel too. Shea butter is my new everything. Thanks Cleopatras for the amazing prices and punctual timing my products shipped faster than I expected haha. I added a few pictures of what it looked like after I mixed it. If you watch the video I mentioned, you'll see how one is more of a thick pomade consistency and the other is more of a loose smooth pudding type look. Almost like lotion for everyday use. I purchased the 8oz of the Shea Butter instead of the 1lb. because I did not know if I would like it. I started using it once I received it and I am very happy with the product. I mixed a small portion of the shea butter with organic olive oil and use it as a hair dressing for my damaged hair. I put the mixture on my scalp and hair and tied it up with a scarf until I was ready to wash my hair later in the day. When I was ready at the end of the day to wash, the shea/olive oil mixture absorbed into my very dry hair and made it feel soft and it was not greasy. I use this mixture on wet hair and let it dry naturally and I also use it as a daily hair dressing. I've also used the shea butter straight as a skin moisturizer and it absorbed great into my skin. I've notice some lightening of dark spots on my legs and a small spot on my nose, better texture of skin on my face and feet. I took another small portion of the remaining shea butter I have and mixed it with kukui nut oil and use that as a daily lotion. I take my daily lotion concoction and mix it with a little sunscreen for sun protection ( I live in Florida and the sun is very strong) and it works great for me. I've seen complaints about the smell of the shea butter but I didn't bother me because it reminded me of the smell of a pure cocoa butter stick. I wish I purchased the 1lb container and I will next time when my budget allows.

This shea butter is so wonderful. It feels just like a thick non slippery butter with a organic scent of nuts and cocoa (scent fades quickly). A small amount goes a long way. And it really keeps you skin moisturize without the heavy grease. Excellent for babies skin as well. :)

After 1 application, my skin (and lips) were so much softer and smoother. It goes on thick since you need to "melt" it in your hands before applying. This will be great all over - especially the feet or other dry parts of you body.
