I use this as a facial cleanser and it is fantastic. I have oily/ combination skin that is prone to breakouts and so far this product has managed to limit breakouts and balances my face. Leaves my skin soft, clean and clear. I think this product is reasonably priced especially when i compare to what I usually spend on facial products that do not have the same effect. over all shipping and service with Cleopatra was great!

I did a great deal of research before deciding to try dead sea salt products for my severely acne-prone skin. Prior to this soap, I hadn't found a single product that helped my skin. I've been using the dead sea mud soap for over a month now, and I have noticed fewer blemishes on my face. Unfortunately, I suffer from horrible acne on my back as well, and the soap hasn't made as much of a difference there. I will order more of this soap when I run out because I believe--simply based on the improvement I've seen thus far--that further use can only be even better for my skin. I also plan to order the day and night moisturizing creams. Highly recommend!

After turning 30 and having our second daughter, I struggled with acne on my face(hormones), on my back, and arms. After only 3 days the acne on my back is clearing up and the scars are fading, and the acne on my face is clearing up. I have tried creams from dermatologist, facial peels, microdermabrasion, back facials, etc. This combined with Tea Tree oil is doing the trick. This product seems to pull(extract) all of the sebum and dirt and anything else that is in your skin out. I was told by my dermatologist that the bumps on my back was fungus. So apparently this soap kill that too. It also appears that it is shrinking the large pores on my skin, which keeps dirt from being trapped in my skin. I am so happy I found this product!!! I'm about to order two more bars right now!!

This soap is pretty effective. It makes my skin so clean and smooth after I used it on my face. The soap is a bit scratchy when used on face though, but it's still good. It controls my acne well.

It's like a good scrub because there are like tiny little beads on the soap itself which feels a little rough on your skin so you know you're scrubbing away the dead cells and all that debris.
I've heard that it does minimize the amount of acne, and I couldn't verify that before.
But in the past month, my acne grew back, quick and way out of control (due to the stress from school and stuff), so I started using my dead sea soap and it DOES decrease my acne :)

I have tried this soap and this soap leaves your skin moisturised and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. It removes oil, dirt, and other impurities from your skin. It does not irritate my acne prone skin. It does help with decreasing acne, but for me it did not completely get rid of it. Overall though it is a must have for my skincare regime since it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.

I have been using this soap for about two weeks for my body. It reduces oil and cleans my body but nothing else has changed. I tried it for my face but it is drying. I will keep using it and hope it clears dark spots and breakout caused by the sulphur soap.

I used another high profile facial soap for years, then out of the blue developed a case of ezema. After having it treated professionally, I began using Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap as it claimed to help prevent / alleviate this condition. I have not had a flare up since that time. I would highly recommend this product to keep one's face cleansed, hydrated and free of skin conditions.

Finally a 'treatment' that works. I've used psoriasis soap and cleanser after cleanser with no good results to speak of. Finally, with this soap in combination with vitamin e oil as a moisturizer, I'm able to keep my psoriasis at bay. It doesn't have a strong scent and it feels really good. It's also a really hard soap so it lasts a long time. The price isn't as bad as you think when you realize it lasts for a month or more.

I had purchased a few bars of this soap a few months ago. I have been using it and my skin has cleared up quite a bit. I still get acne at the age of 49. My 13 year old daughter has some acne issues herself and uses this soap and it has helped her. I like the fact this soap doesn't dissolve quickly. Long lasting and it lathers up good.

I have a moderate case of eczema and I was concerned with how frequently I had to use topical steroids to keep it somewhat under control. I was looking for a more natural way to keep it under control and came across this product. The Adovia soap does an excellent job at keeping my eczema under control and making my skin feel comfortable overall. I noticed the difference within a week of use. The product gets dinged one star because of it's price.

While $10 for a bar of soap is high, Cleopatra's Choice was the most price competitive vendor I saw. I also want to highlight how my order was shipped very promptly. I will continue shopping here!

This soap helps relieve my skin condition and overtime it heals it. I LOVE THIS SOAP! After 2 years of uncontrollable skin leissures, and nonstop doctors' appointments, my skin was completely strip from its moisture and became so dry that it hurts sometimes. Now, I only use this for both my face/body acne and eczema. All these years, I thought it was psiorasis but just yesterday, another dermatologist diagnosed my skin condition as eczema. Whichever it is, this soap still helps!!! I know the pain of having skin problems and the frustration that doctors nowadays seem to only care about you coming back so they can make money off of your misery, so please take my word for it. Amazing What A Little Bar Of Soap Can Do!

Let me start off by saying that I run a beauty blog and that this product was sent to me free for review. That being said, this product is so good that Cleopatra's Choice has made a life time customer out of me. Even though I got my first bar free for sampling purposes, it is well worth the almost $10 it costs and I will be re-purchasing this Dead Sea Mud Soap until the day I stop washing my face. Seriously, it's that good. So far, I have only used this bar of soap to wash my face so I can only comment on how it's worked as a face wash. To use this bar of soap to wash my face, I first wet my face and rub the bar all over until there is a slight creamy lather all over my face. I then use my wet hands to rub in circles and lather up the soap even more. The texture is mostly creamy but there is a slight grainy-ness evident that I assume comes from the mud. My skin is very dry, sensitive and gets easily irritated and turns red with most face washes, especially those with a scrub like texture which this bar seems to have a bit of. Not so with Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap. My face doesn't feel irritated or turn red at all during or after washing my face with this. Immediately after I have washed and dried off, my face feels clean, refreshed, and moisturized. I typically have dry skin and load up on the moisturizer after washing my face. However, since I've started using using the Dead Sea Mud Soap, my face feels much softer and is not as dry and tight as it felt after using the drug store face washes I used to use. So now I've raved about the short term effects of this soap. But what about the long term effects you ask? Overall my skin feels much healthier. Most likely because this bar is all natural opposed to the chemical filled face washes that I'm so used to using. Also, I waited almost two months to write the review so I could put this product to the test to see if it could solve my biggest face problem. Menstrual breakouts. In general, I rarely have ance except the week before my time of the month when my face goes haywire. Before my period comes I can usually expect five-ten major breakout spots to appear on my face. I've been using this soap as a face wash through two menstrual cycles and have not had a single breakout since. Not a single pimple. Not even one. So not only did the soap maintain my normally clear skin, it also cleared up my breakouts that came around when I was on my period which is a huge miracle to me. I can't rave enough about this soap. Until you try it, you don't know what you're missing but when you do try it, I guarantee you'll never want to go back to using drug store face wash again. Thanks so much Cleopatra's Choice for supplying such an outstanding product! I hope to become a lifetime customer and that this product never gets discontinued!

I orders the mud soap along with other things .. it doesn't seem to be helping my acne its only been 5 days of using it morning and at night ,,, my acne got worse because i used the exfoliating facial salts and it aggravated my acne under my skin it kinda ripped them and made them look really red so now i have a bunch of tiny red acne bumps everywhere on my chin.. hopefully another week of using the mud soap will get rid of this .. im not happy so far i'v also been using the mud mask as a spot treatment overnight for 5 days an it doesnt seem to be getting better im kinda wondering if this is a waste of time ,, i was really hoping that these products were going to work ...i will be back to update and tell you guys how it is going ..

Layng in my tub with a good some of the Bath salts I also added the Dead Sea Mud Soap to my regiments. It got rid of even more dead skin and left me clean feeling. It does not have a soapy feeling and it is not really heavy with perfumes so the Dead Sea Salts leave a nice smell to the my skin and also opens the sinus.
It does not leave the bathtube stickiy which is important for myself. Cleopatra Choice staff and your Clients have a winning team, Please keep making these awesome products!!! Be Blessed

I purchased the sulfur soap from this site and it worked pretty well on my face but did nothing for my back acne. So I read a few reviews and ordered the Dead Sea Mud Soap. Well, I love it! It works just as well (if not better) on my face and is really clearing up my back. I have mild acne on my face and back and I have tried everything out there (home remedies, over the counter products, prescription products, those products that you pay $50/month for, EVERYTHING!) The Dead Sea Mud Soap is the best product I have found so far and it works fast. Within two days I was seeing results. I have recommended this soap to family and friends and will be ordering again. Thank you!

Pros:

-Shipped fast
-Works fast (clearing up my acne on my face and back and is evening out my skin tone a bit)
-Is lasting a long time

Cons:

-You definitely need a good oil free moisturizer! I have oily skin and I need to put on 2-3 coats of my Mary Kay Formula 3 moisturizer after each use.
-Doesn't do much for my oily skin throughout the day but I use the Mary Kay beauty blotters when I need them. (I'll take the clear skin with just a little shine!)
-It doesn't help a great deal with the small black heads on my noise, chin, and forehead. (In fact, it might be contributing to them a little). I just use the combo pack biore strips to get rid of those and it helps a lot. Try steaming open your pores before you apply the strips - the results are better for me.

Great for Body... NOT for face

I originally bought this soap with the acne combo kit. I must admit, this soap left my face super clean and smooth. However, this soap caused my face to be super dry as well, which was quite surprising being that it got such great reviews. It was so drying that my skin became very irritated especially around the nose area. I After just two days of use, I had to stop using it. And in case you are wondering what kind of skin I have, I have combination skin, nose and t zones tend to get oily throughout the day. I may give it a shot again in the warmer months, but definately not good for winter.

Didn't want the soap to go to waste, so I tried it out on my body and no issues so far. It leaves my skin feeling soft and super clean, I have not experienced any dryness on the rest of my body.

Well I just got the Mud soap and Moisturizer on the 12/12/11. I used both products on the 13th and I must say that it helped alot with my oily skin. I always have to blot my skin through out the day or It will look like my face had a fight with a bottle of Olive oil. On the 14th same results and I also noticed that I did not get any new pimples on my face since using the products ( I am a pimple magnet). Not today is the 15th and my skin it still not as oily however I have 3 new friends on my face, BUT they are small pimples not as large as they usually are (sorry for being so descriptive). So we will see what happens. After 2wks I will post another review as a follow up of what is going on with my acne prone and oily skin.

This a good soap. I have oily prone skin with acne (combination). The way i use this soap is i wet my face first and lather the soap, then apply it all over face. Let it sit for few minutes then wash my face. I will recommend this soap to people who suffer from acne but also to those who want beautiful skin. It has and earthly smell to, it's very gentle and does not irritate the skin. I've used it for two weeks now and i can see a difference in my skin complexion and texture.

I hate this soap. I have very sensitive skin.This was very terrible to my skin. I only had mild breakouts before using this product, but my breakout got worse as I kept using it. Because of all the good reviews, I never had an inkling that this could be the culprit to my massive breakout. I kept using it for 8 months and it caused such massive breakout which I am still trying to heal from. So be warned!!!

I have always been on the look out for a natural soap that contains healing properites from the sea that helps to keep skin clear. There are a lot of good reviews of this soap, but still I was skeptical of its claims. Soap is soap. I have been using it on my face and body and I have to say that I am impressed. Normally, even soap that claims not to dry skin leaves my skin feeling tight after I rinse, but not this soap. My skin feels clean and smooth, but not dry.I am really very impressed. The price still seems steep. Even when you buy in bulk. I would wait until there is a sale and stock up. I have had my bar for about a month and so far I have about half left.

I'm going to be honest with you. I was afraid to try Adovia Dead Sea Mud Soap because I previously had a bad experience with Ahava mud soap. Like so many others, I was willing to give Adovia a try. Well I tried it! I AM IMPRESSED! It corrected the horrible effects from Ahava! I have combination psoriasis and adult acne. I cannot believe how soft and smooth my skin became after using it for a week! The dry psoriatic patches on my neck and parts of my face and body are gone! My acne is disappearing. My lines and wrinkles are less noticeable. My skin overall looks so much better now. In fact I am starting to look at least 10 yrs younger because of my skin! Thanks Adovia. I've been suffering with chest and back acne for as long as I can remember. I tried everything from over the counter products, to acne-fighting shower gels, and even oral medication. The latter seemed to be working, but when I stopped taking the medication acne had returned! I didn't have problems with my back, but it was my chest that I was extremely worried about. I searched online wanting to find if anything is out there to relieve body acne and I stumbled upon this website. I've tried everything out there on the market so I thought "why not?" and ordered this product. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations and couldn't really notice a difference for the first couple of days. Well, it's been a little over 2 weeks since using this soap and I must say that it's working. It helped with the pustules and noticed that my old scars were fading. I'd have to be consistent with using this soap to see if it's extremely effective so for now, I rate this with 4 stars. After I'm done using this mud soap I'll leave another review!

I was sent a bar of Adovia Dead Sea Mud soap to review from Cleopatras Choice. The packaging Adovia uses is very nice and would be nice for giving as gift. The mud soap works great! I used it as a facial As a facial soap, it leaves the skin very clean and moisturized. This product is all natural. There is no fragrance, and it's good for the skin. I love this product!! My skin tends to be dry, but after using this soap, my skin is more balanced and moisturized and feels very clean.

This soap is AMAZING!!! If I could give it more than five stars, I most certainly would. When I first got it, I was breaking out in various spots on my face. After a few washes with this soap, I saw a dramatic difference in my breakouts, and in three days, everything was completely gone. What makes me love it even more is the fact that IT WORKS ON SKIN BOILS!!! I have suffered from chronic skin boils for five years now, and thought there was nothing out there that would help me manage it. I even considered getting surgery! I decided to use the soap on my underarms, (where I get my boils) since it claims to treat many skin conditions. I again notice a dramatic difference after a few washes. The boil decreased in size and I did not have as much pain. In about five days of washing my underarms day and night, My boil was completely gone! This is amazing because it usually takes about two weeks for my boils to come to a head and burst. I am so happy I found this product, I could cry!!!

I bought a bar of this soap thinking "Eh, we'll try it. Couldn't hurt." for my three-year-old's eczema. He's been on a high dose steroid cream on and off (though much more on than off) for a year now. After a week of using this soap in combination with nightly sea salt soaks, he's all cleared up. Of course, we still moisturize twice a day, but I haven't had to use the steroid cream in three days! And in this 90% humidity, that's really saying something. It doesn't burn and doesn't smell horrible (it doesn't really have a scent, if you ask me). I will be ordering more just to make sure we don't run out! Speaking of ordering, SUPER fast shipping! Based on after reading reviews, I was so excited when I got these soaps in the hope of keeping one of my son's severe acne problem under control. He has been using the soap for about 2 months; I didn't see much improvement on him and he said it didn't help much at all. My other son doesn't like the smell of it after using it once and won't use it again. To me, it is still a good soap, gentle enough for everyday use with no harsh chemical.

I cant believe either someone gave this 2 stars. It doesnt work overnight but it does work! No product works over night but this one does leave a lasting effect. I had it gifted to me thanks to a friend of mine who wanted to know what I wanted for christmas a year ago and i'd die without the soap it's amazing i've used it to clear up my breakouts, my dandruff hair is almost gone and my skin never itches when i use it. I received both one product before the other, but didn't have to wait long to get the other. I have been using the soap for about two weeks now, and it seems be helping my breakouts. The mud mask is great. I get cysts on my neck at times, and this seems to be shrinking them. I had 1 on my cheek, and about a week later it actually finally came to a head! Really, someone gave this two stars because it didn't work for them! I'm asthonished! I have VERY dry skin, especially on my hands and feet. It's so sever that my soles will get these deep punctures that are painful and get infected. I get eczema on my hands, patches on my sides, cracked knuckles and deep fissures on the corners of my finger nails. I'm sure some of you out there understand how painful these events are. My dermatologist gave me steriod creams, which I hate using because it causes thinning in my skin. I found out the hard way how much my skin thinned when I chopped serano chili peppers and parts of my finger were burning for two hours. Ah-ha! That's the spot where my eczema flares and I put the cream. I bought this soap for my husband who has these dry pathes on his eybrows. On a whim I bought two bars and I used one to wash my hands. I washed and walked away (without putting on lotion).Usually, I MUST put on lotion within minutes of washing my hands, or else the tightening starts and the cracking begins. 30 mintues go by and I realized that I DIDN'T use lotion after washing with this bar. I WAS COMPETELY SOLD! So much so, that I'm buying the liquid form and will put this in ALL bathrooms. If it's good for me, it''l be great for my kids.THANKS ADOVIA

I gave it 2 stars only because it didn't aggravate any problem, otherwise it would have been 1. Both my son & I used this. He has somewhat severe back & chest acne. He has had it through most of his teen years & is now 18, so it could be horomonal, but there was no improvement with this $soap$. I have mild back acne which comes & goes. I am 42/female. This $soap$ did nothing to improve mine either. We both used it faithfully, sticking with it everyday. I am just glad I got it on sale? at 7.00/bar & I only bought 1. We will stick with the african black soap we were using as it is less expensive & at least improves the texture of our skin.

I have to admit that I am always nervous about reading reviews because in today's industry, you never know just who are company people tooting their own horn or whatnot. But having suffered with psoriasis for the past 7 years, I couldn't pass up the desire to try after reading the reviews. My situation is horrible. Huge patches on both elbows and both knees, and more recently on the knuckles of my left hand. Every night the itching and flaking keeping me awake, and in the summer, the long sleeves and capris rather than shorts and a t-shirt. Only one word can sum up Psoriasis, and that is �Misery'. Anyway, I decided to order 3 bars of the mud soap. They came in on a Friday, and I took a shower with it that same night. The itch and burn was nearly unbearable as the soap wrestled with my stubborn plaques, and as I came out of the shower and patted down my patchy areas, they were bright red and stinging. I applied some of the prescription ointment and it stopped right away. I'm sure if I had ordered some of the cream that goes with the psoriasis system it would have worked just as well, but as this was my first time, I just wanted to see if the soap worked. It has been 7 days and the plaques are gone. My skin is smooth, although still discolored, and the burning itch while showering with the mud soap has diminished greatly to where it hardly bothers me anymore. I plan on getting the entire kit along with the bulk salt because in the past 7 years, I've never had a better night sleep until recently. ZERO itch, which is simply glorious. I urge anyone who is suffering from this awful skin-wrecking disease to just at least try the soap and see if you don't begin to heal almost immediately! I am certain now that the entire kit will work if this single bar of soap produced such extraordinary results. I will not trust my body to any other goods from now on. It will be Dead Sea products from Cleopatra's for me from now on. Bless you all at Cleopatra's Choice for offering actual products that work for sufferers like me!!

ok so ..where to start! i have nothing but awesome praise for this soap! i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! i have a super oily t-zone, complete with big pores and ugly blackheads. i've been using this soap now for about 2.5-3 weeks ...and omg! my skin is SOFT ..my pores are SHRINKING ..my blackheads are disappearing ...and my face is way less oily! honestly ..this stuff is nothing short of an amazing miracle. ..plus, when you order, they send you samples of other things, which is always a plus!

For two years I had issues during a lot of the winter months. I was finally diagnosed with inverse psoriasis. I had so much problems even wearing my clothing. I've had terrible Psoriasis for several years. Within a month, 90 percent of it was gone! I actually wore shorts for the first time in years. So now the medication that I do use lasts a long time for the little I have remaining. And just as a tip, some sun exposure to the psoriasis is beneficial. Even the (harmful) medications could not help like that! I have also noticed a difference in the amount of acne breakout I have! I will NEVER use any other soap again!
