This mud leaves your skin SO soft after washing it off. It's incredible. I only use it once a week, but I always look forward to that day! The ONLY problem I kind of had with it was that after washing my face thoroughly.. I still saw some residue. I took a towel and scrubbed a little bit, but I didn't want to do that too much...and I still saw some residue. It could be because I have large pores.. so that may be the reason. It was night time anyway when I did it, so it really wasn't a big deal, and by morning- after washing my face- it was all gone. I love love love this stuff! It really does purge your face and leaves it feeling super smooth. Looks like its going to last a long time, too!

I enjoy getting a mud treatment at the spa, and I especially love Dead Sea products so I figured I'd try this. At first it was a bit messy until I made sure to have towels to lie on and free uninterrupted time. First I did my elbows, let them dry then showered. Smooth results! Then I made my husband lie on a towel and I did his entire back. Heated the mud on his sore spots. let it dry and he showered. It helped his achy muscles and psoriasis. THEN, one morning I indulged myself with washing first with the mud soap then I rinsed and used the clay on my face. I let it get good and dry and then showered. My face has been so smooth and clean feeling and its been a couple of days. This is a good price and easy to do at home spa treatment! Saves a good $75 off the spa.

Cons:
You have to be careful not to get the black mud all over "stuff" when using. BUT, once you get the hang of it, it is best that it gets showered off to contain the black mud. A few spritzes of bleach in the shower and a good rinse and all is good as new.

The amount of mud that comes in this jar is amazing. It should last a while. The mud is wonderful. I have been using it twice a week on my face since I got it (for about a month). Since there are no other chemicals/ingredients added, it does not irritate my skin or even dry it out. My skin is moderately sensitive and it dries out easily but using this mud twice a week is just fine for me. My skin is already softer anf my skin tone is more even. I can not wait to see the long term effects and I highly recommend this!

I have psoriatic arthritis and there's one particular location on my lower leg that flares the most. Once a week I use the Dead Sea mud as a mask for 15 min and it seems to keep it under control. No more itching or flakiness. I would recommend this product to anyone with skin issues. I have also told both my dermatologist and rheumatologist about the wonderful effects of dead sea mud and salts.

Great Addition To The Dermatology Regimen I Was Already On!!!

I was already using one cream (Dovonex) and two ointments (Fluocinonide and Clobetasol Propionate) as needed, along with sunlight (10-15 minutes maximum) per my dermatologist. My condition is severe, it started with plaque psoriasis and then after a severe level of stress I also got a severe case of guttate psoriasis. The guttate psoriasis has gone away but I still have the plaque psoriasis more severe than before I got the guttate psoriasis. I added the 'Adovia Pure Dead Sea Mud' on a weekly basis, and do not use the cream or ointments for a full day afterwards. This seems to be working well, and definitely is helping more than the cream, ointments and sunlight were by themselves. I am placing another order for the 'Adovia Pure Dead Sea Mud Jar', as that seems to be the easiest version for me to use. Thank you for making this product.

This product is easy to use, it makes my skin feel softer and more elastic, and it removes the layers of plaque psoriasis in a gentle way.

I love the dead sea mud! Those tiny little 'scrubbies' in the mud exfoliate my skin when I rinse it off. I just use gentle circular motions. If you use this on your face, make sure that you don't just apply it and then go do something else for a long period of time! I don't wait until it is completely dry - just until it is almost dry and then rinse it off. Beautiful skin afterwards!

I have just received my first jar of Adovia Mud and this morning I applied it all over my body, I drew a smiley face on my tummy and rings around my nipples, I coated my arms & legs, chestai back, I put the Adovia Mud mask on my face, and while I was waiting I put a treatment in my hair, I danced around naked in front of my full length mirror and prayed the fire alarm didnt go off and the water stayed on... I am fair skinned 61 years old with long blonde hair and I laughed my head off .. I am not crazy but it helped ... now I feel great inside and out .... love the dead sea products ...Thank you ..

This is the second jar of Adovia Pure Dead Sea Mud I have bought. I love the way it makes my face feel. Just remember, this IS mud, so be careful not to make a mess. I have psoriasis on my feet and it seems to help that condition. I use it on my hands, and it makes them soft. I love this product.

This item was so highly recommended and had such great reviews, so I was extremely willing to try it for myself. It came in the mail the other day and I was very eager to use it right away. I put it on my face, let dry for 15 minutes, and wiped it off with warm water. However, I do not notice any difference in my skin whatsoever. Thinking maybe it was just me, my mother tried it out for herself and again, no difference. If anything, it dried our skin of it's natural oils. I really wish I could give this item the benefit of the doubt, but it honestly wasn't any better than your basic drugstore mask or facial wash. And you can buy a drugstore face wash for around $7. At $19.95 + $4.99 shipping, this item was NOT worth it. I will not be repurchasing this mask.

I actually got this as a free sample and was surprised by how thick the consistency was of the product. I personally love mud. I've done mud wraps and eventually would like to try the mud baths in Calistoga, CA. I just feel rejuvenated and I'm doing something extremely beneficial to my skin. I've tried different brands of dead sea mud and I've had one that was more watery. I wasn't a fan of that. I feel that they watered a good product down. This product, however, felt nice, thick and didn't seem like they added anything to lower the quality of the product. I plan on buying a bigger jar eventually.

The product did sting for a small amount of time but I believe it was working into the surface of my skin.
When I removed the mud I was surprised at how soft my skin felt and my wrinkles didnt look as deep.(spent alot of time in my youth in the Australian sun)
My skin had a light pink colour to it and looked better than it has for years. Im sixty years old so the improvement was surprising. I will continue to use this product as
it has certainly impressed me.

I was kind of skeptical about the mud mask in the beginning, but I didn't want to buy the other one because it was too expensive. However, I had been given a sample of the other mud mask, and it seemed to have worked, but I wasn't sure how this one would work. When I tried it however, it immediately acted on any growing pimple. I usually use it once every week before I sleep. The next day when I wake up, I notice that the pimples have drastically shrunk. I also have bigger pores closer to my nose area, but they seem to be shrinking as well. I don't get pimples there like I used to (actually I haven't gotten any pimples there at all). I also want to highlight that I use the mud soap as well, so I guess that they work together effectively in keeping my face clear. I definitely do not get breakouts like I used to.

-Shrivels any pimples present.
-Face feels clean
-Product lasts if not used excessively

-Can sting; usually lasts for a brief moment and does not always occur. I usually use that as an indication that the product is working.

Now THIS is what a mud mask is supposed to be like! This stuff is fantastic, I can't say enough good things about it. My tween daughter has had some deep blackheads on her nose for months and this stuff is clearing them up wonderfully. I have sensitive skin that easily turns very red if it's irritated, but this mud doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest. My husband even likes and uses it. We will definitely buy more of this when we run out, but the jar is so large, that won't be any time soon!

I use this as a face mask .. and ever since i have used this . I have seen great results . The mud mask in this jar is amazing!!! I'm 48 years young with large pores so I am always looking for masks that will improve the quality of my facial skin. I have never received so many compliments on my complexion since I have been using Adovia Pure Dead Sea Mud. I try to use it at least every 2 weeks, I apply the mud before I get into the shower then I rinse it off and proceed with washing my hair, etc. Right before I get out of the shower, I wash my face with my special facial cleanser. I can hardly believe this is MY skin! I positively glow!
Pros:
It's effectiveness on large pored, aging skin. It seems to pull the impurities out and leaves me with very soft, clear, youthful looking skin! And I have actually used this mud on my arms and legs where I tend to break out with body acne. Amazing product!
Cons:
If anything, it is cold when first applied, lol, but it quickly warms to your body temperature. That's about it on the negative side!

After trying this product for the first time before going to bed, I immediately noticed improvements to the tone and texture of my skin the next morning.

It feels great on the skin, It works on smoothing and soothing the skin, especially itchy, dry, irritated skin. You can feel this tightening up the skin and pulling the crud out. I have eczema on both my legs. I had used so many different products but none of them worked out for me. Today was my first day using the Dead Sea Mud. Being skeptical, I only tried the Dead Sea Mud on one of my legs. When I washed it off, I could distinctly feel the difference between both my legs. My legs usually feel itchy and uncomfortable, but after the first use, the leg which I used the Dead Sea Mud on feels so much less itchy than the other which I usually only apply moisturizer on! I'm definitely going to use it for the long term and hopefully it would help with my condition. Thanks Adovia!

I am VERY skeptical about what i buy or try out. But, being the person I am, I always try everything once. I am Sooooooooooooooo glad i decided to try this product! I have lichen planus, a skin disease that has no cure. I've been using the sulfur soap, and yesterday used the mud. I was amazed! The inflamation seemed to disappear. I plan on using the mud everyday and continuing to use the sulfur soap. At this point, it really seems to be helping and it's keeping the pain in my hands away. I'm hooked!

For two years I had issues during a lot of the winter months. I was finally diagnosed with inverse psoriasis. I had so much problems even wearing my clothing. The doctors gave me topical ointments and other things to take the itch away. But within 3 more days it would come back. Would not even stop even using it 2 or 3 times a day. I've had samples of this mud and given just one to a friend to try out he breaks out badly on his legs. nothing else seems to work for him at all, so i figured what could it hurt to let him try it, well needless to say the small sample he used cleared up one whole leg, not like other products where it doesn't even do anything but make his skin red or worse. Impressive Detoxification

We use the Adovia Dead Sea Body Mud in our SPA for mud wrap treatments. We are in a very upscale area and our spa is definitely not cheap. Compared to any of the clays or moor mud we've used before this, Adovia Dead Sea Mud has shown the most impressive results as far as detoxifying skin and leaving it with a younger appearance. I have many clients that are signed up for monthly mud wraps since we've introduced the Adovia mud. I think probably due to the fact that your body mud has such a high concentration of minerals that puts it on such a higher level than the other stuff we've tried.

This review is regarding your dead sea mud by Adovia. I would just like to tell you how much it helped my husbands eczema which he's had since he was a kid. We've tried the steroid creams and everything else the HMO doctor so prescribed, but nothing has worked as well as putting on some of this dead sea mud in the shower and leaving it on for 15 minutes. His skin is much softer, never dry and doesn't itch!! - a WORLD of difference. I just can't believe that with how well this mud works more people haven't heard of it. I mean it took us so many years to find you guys, you've gotta spread the word about this mud!
