Cleopatra's Choice professional make up brushes are designed by leading
make up artists and exhibit the finest craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The bristles of these professional tools are made of goat, pony, sable, boar
and squirrel bristle as well as synthetic hair (see individual product descriptions for more details on each brush). A more sophisticated look and
feel is created by the exquisite, glossy black wood handles. Before introducing
these cosmetic brushes we asked five of our professional beauty salon clients here in Los Angeles to use them on their clients and
tell us what they thought. Every one of them found them to be on par
with very expensive make up brushes available only to the beauty industry. Now you too can use professional makeup brushes used by the top artists in the beauty industry, in the comfort of your home. We have professional brushes available for all types of cosmetics - from mineral makeup to liquid cosmetics, eye shadow, foundation, blush and bronzers. When choosing the right brush for you, you must take into account the overall quality and the bristles which are used. Many people are allergic to synthetic bristles so check the hair type that's used before purchasing. Also run your hand through the bristles to make sure they don't fall out right away - if they do the brush may not last long.
Makeup artists use a variety of standard brushes along with the famous Kabuki and focus on areas such as the eyes, lip, cheek, neck and t-zone areas. Some cosmetics do come in a package with their own application tools, but professional makeup artists usually buy expensive multi-use brushes for their professions. Professionals try to purchase the highest quality of brushes that are on the market since their livelihood depends on the quality of their work. The best way to avoid cheap products is by avoiding the drugstores cosmetic counter and buying your brushes online. You will know it was a good investment when you go to apply your makeup and it goes on perfectly without shedding or smudging other makeup.
After you buy your makeup brushes such as those for the lips, eyeshadow and blus or the Kabuki brush, practice applying the cosmetics. For eyes, place your eye shadow brush into the powdered color you want and smoothly slide it from the inner part of the eye lid to the outer part. For cheeks, use the Kabuki brush and dip it into the blush or foundation you want and gently slide it from the jaw line of the cheek and upwards in a diagonal fashion. This will enhance the cheeks and increase the definition of your cheek bones. For lips, dip your smaller brush into the color of your choice and apply accordingly. Do not over do it and keep it light and natural.
Make sure that along with you Kabuki brush, you also have a selection of small, medium and large brushes. This will give you a variety to choose from and travel with if needed. Get a little makeup bag or case that will be good to travel overnight with and that will fit your medium tools.
