I have purchased other black soaps in the past,but this one is the real deal. My skin is smoother ,brighter, and some of my acne is going away. I also washed my hair with it. It did not dry my hair out. I also washed my daughter's hair with it, she has thick locs that are dry, but the black soap rinsed clean from her hair and did not leave it stripped.
I gave some to my nephew who has eczema and his skin is very dry. His skin is now showing some improvement.

Maybe I'm just sensitive, but this soap made my skin burn in places. I can't imagine what ingredient, except maybe the lime juice, would have caused this. I'm glad I got it during a half price sale. :-(

This soap lasts a very long time. I know everyone will agree. To make it last even longer, you can place the soap crumbles in hot distilled water. Leave it for 24hrs and you now have tons of liquid black soap.

Delivery was fast in spite of Christmas and New Year holidays. Thank you guys. I have received big piece of soap, very good wrapped. As it has no fragrant the smell is very natural. Soap is very soft and easy to cut by kitchen knife. I even could make an oval shape by fingers. It gives a lot of rich foam after very slight wet, but it required a bit more time to wash it away. Soap has high Ph level so I won't use it on my face and body, but I will definitely use it on hands as natural alternative to ordinary washing products.

Having tried literally (or what feels like) every skincare product on the market, I don't really expect anything to work anymore. But after just using this soap twice I already noticed quite a big difference in the look and the feel of my skin. I can't believe no one has told me about this product before, as it would've saved me years of agony. I even managed my boyfriend to try it (whose problem is patches of dry skin). I ordered the big chunk of soap, and it will probably last me more than a year. I have nothing bad to say about this product.

Amazing stuff, I have bad acne and scars problem and I have done facials and medications and none has worked until I tried the Black Soap. it works so well that my acne would be gone by next morning. My scars have already lightened up also in less than two weeks of use. Actually you notice a difference already in your first use.

As much as I like Black Soap, I really don't care for the batch I recently received. Compared to what I purchased from Cleopatra in the past, this batch is very crumbly. You can't bath with a 12 oz bar, so you have to cut it. When you cut it, it crumbles. How do you make a bar out of crumbs? Can you even melt the soap into a bar? I need HELP!

I tried this soap on my face first. It is drying as stated by other reviewers. It did bring out blemishes that were there but I could not see them. I hve not decided yet if I like this for my face. I also tried it on my hair and was very pleased with the results. I used a mild conditioner afterwards and I loved the texture and softness of my hair.

this is not the typical bar soap you are used to using. that stuff is processed on machines and packed with chemicals that give it the color and perfume smell. i ordered this on a monday and received it on a friday. fast delivery. i love how much i got for the low price. i opened the box and there was this huge CHUNK of soap. looks like mud and dirt mixed together. kind of soft. no smell to it. i have used it 3 times since i have gotten it. i wash my face twice a day. when i wake up and before bed. the swelling of my bumps on my face have gone down. the redness has disappeared. i am impressed with this soap. wish i had known about it years ago! it doesnt take much either. just take a little piece of it to wash your face, body, hair, whatever you want. it lathers great. only need a little. i can tell this soap is going to last a long time. gonna be a while before i have to order more. but i definitely WILL be ordering more. for sure!

The soap is wonderful! It lathers well, cleans well and improves my skin. I have acne that this soap takes care of before it has a chance to show. I do apply a mixture of shea butter and coconut oil after cleansing. My order came sooner than I expected, so that was a bonus!

This product works wonders. For years I have struggled with acne and never seem to find the right face soap that would get rid of my acne. In fact, most of the products I've used over the counter broke me out or made my acne worst. I feel so happy to have finally found a face soap that works. Literally it cleared up my acne within one week. If I knew it was this easy before I would have invested in this all natural product sooner. Literally, it suds up quickly in the palm of your hand so you only have to use a little at a time.Its gentle on your facial skin as it cleanses and does not leave your skin super dry like other soaps. Amazingly, this product is gentle but dries up acne bumps quickly. By morning, your bumps will be completely gone. I am so pleased with this product and I recommend anyone who have trouble with acne as I did, use this soap and you'll have to look no more.

This is my first time trying an all natural soap like this one. I take off a tiny piece from the mound and it is just enough to wash my entire body. A little certainly goes a long way. I have tried it on my face but I noticed that it kind of burns, so I stopped using it there. I should be using it on my body every time I shower, but sometimes I forget about it. It does make me feel very clean after using it, however I feel as though it makes my skin a little too dry after a shower..it feels a bit tight (but it does feel soft). I use the 100% organic ivory shea butter afterwards and that helps my skin stay hydrated. I plan on continuing my usage of this soap a little more frequently to see if it will help clear up some of my body acne.

My daughter is 12 years old and has suffered with since the age of 1. I purchased this particular Black soap, not the manufactured brand but this one along with the cream colored natural shea butter and the eczema has disappeared. Literally!!! These two products together are heaven sent, they do not have the wonderful scents because they are all natural. The Black soap does dry your skin but that's why I chase it with the natural shea butter. Our complexions are even toned and we look great!)

I have only been using African Black Soap for one week. Using it on my face and body. I have started seeing improvements in my face with the pores reduciing. I have trouble using many types of products on face and body, usually breaks me out, I haven't had any problems with this.

I've used this soap for 2 weeks and really don't see any difference in my skin, hair etc. Bought it to tread eczema but I'm not sure it hasn't make it worse. Basically it acts like soap. Plus the cost vs regular soap just doesn't justify the results.

Love this soap. Cleans your skin incredibly well. Used to use dove soap but this is so much better. Two dislikes, however. When I first ordered this soap, the one that came was lighter in color, bigger in size and did not stain my facecloths. The second shipment came darker, smaller in size, and stained washcloths. It also left a buring sensation all over my upper chest.

When I used this soap for the first time... it felt amazingly cleansing. Yes, afterwards your skin feels dry, but I bought 5 lbs of shea butter from this site and whipped it up with some aloe vera and water in my vitamix and use that right after. Perfect combination.

A co-worker told me about the African Black Soap and gave me a little sample piece to try. I absolutely love the way it made my skin look and feel, so I purchased my own along with the Yellow Shea Butter. I use both products on my face & entire body and I've been receiving so many compliments on how great my skin looks. My son in college, who NEVER likes to try new things, started using both items and he see the difference in his skin. Definitely a great investment...highly recommended!

I order my African black soap and unrefined Shea butter on the 29 of September and received my product on 4 October. Okay I wasn't expecting it until Friday the 7th but a nice surprise when I got home. I was expecting a round bar of soap to my surprise it was in different shapes.Any way I went to use the soap on my dreads and body, I love the way it feels so soft. Now the Shea butter came in a 5 pound block needless to say I was shock. I cut a piece off and have been using it since I received it, make your feet very soft. I love both products. Stores around here in Texas having trouble getting these products I am sending them here to order and recommending this site to everyone.

My order, Unrefined Shea Butter and African Black soap came promptly and without question. Anxiously I used the Black Soap that night and was impressed with the luxurious feel as I washed my face. The soap is a little drying but not where your face is ashy looking and applying the Shea Butter afterwards is the perfect solution.
I am seeing some changes to my complexion eventhough I don't suffer with acne, I wanted to move away from using products with tons of chemicals to product that are more natural. I have found just the right Natural products! I even shared a section of one of my African Black Soap bars with a friend suffering with acne. Waiting to hear from here.

great soap for washing your hair. With my type of skin being sensitive I have found it was great ton start with the first 4 washes,then my skin was becoming quite dry even with a good moisturizer, although I ordered shea butter acouple of days later I have not received it yet. I am also persevering with using the black soap melted down with vegan soap which is much better but will find it a lot better when I can use the she butter after as a better moisturizer. Overall I am a little disappointing but my pores are not as enlarged as before using it, but makes a n excellent natural shampoo otherwise. I have added some to a bottle to make a showe wash and have found this good too. Happy with the experience so far. :)

Unfortunately it was too drying for my face,body seemed to be okay, but was also using the argan oil and it still didn't take care of the dryness and I was broke out bad, not sure if it was the soap or the oil, I am disappointed

I used this soap for about a week for my acne and I broke out more. I was upset about that and stopped using it on my face. I tried using it on my hair and it makes your hair soft. I used it for my body and did not have any irritation. Overall, not recommended for facial use. It burns and may cause more breakouts. I tried the Adovia black soap for the acne and better results.

This is a great soap for eczema. I have eczema and I have tried several products even doctor recommended. Nothing has worked. However, when I received this product one of the things that I noticed is that it cleared up my eczema on my face. This is a great soap! I recommend it for people with skin problems and those who do not have skin problems.

I love this product! It crumbles slightly when cut, but I just mush it together into a ball in my hand. It feels great going on, and leaves my skin feeling great. I do recommend moisturizing afterwards. I have psoriasis, and I use this on my face and flare ups.
