It is the only product I trust to put around my eyes and on my eyelashes. I'm still in the testing stage, but I think I'm already seeing improvements in my lashes. (Yay!) It seems like it's going to last me a while, too, since I only use it on my face for now and you only need a little bit each time. I think I'm going to like this stuff. :)

This Shea butter is wonderful. I love the way it soaks into my skin. My husband is also very happy with it- he has psoriasis and he gets relief from the dry itch he experiences.

This is my second order for Shea Butter. I have been using it for several months and my skin is so soft now. I use it every night and add a few drops of Morrocan Argan Oil to it. I also use on my arms and soles of me feet. My fiance uses it on his arms. He had severe sunburn years ago and the skin was dark and rough. It is very slowly clearing up and is very soft now. I highly recommend it. It lasts a long time and the price is very reasonable.

I love this product! It leaves my sensitive skin feeling like silk with no breakouts or irritation. The smell (nutty) does take some getting use to but it dissipates within a few minutes. I will continue to purchase for many years to come.

I use it on my eczema. It is also great for hands and feet. It makes your skin feel oh so soft, A little goes a long way. Smells earthy and is not greasy.

This is a really good quality shea butter. I have eczema and this is about the only thing that doesn't irritate my skin. It's thick, but melts once you work it around on your hands. It's also better for you than using something like Vaseline. You can mix drops of oil into it and melt it if you want to scent it. It's not the worst smell in the world but if you're used to vanilla, coconut and other commercial smells then this smells a little nutty. It doesn't bother me much though.

I love to feel how moist my skin next morning. First couple days I didnt really like the smell of it, however, after few days its not bothering me at all. I will definitely order it again.

I ordered the yellow and the ivory, and love them both. The scent is distinct, but not overpowering. It's very soothing and smoothing. I can't wait to whip some up in a body butter and give them as gifts. Absolutely wonderful stuff!!! And, great price.

I use this shea butter daily for my body after stepping out of the shower, and for my face as my nighttime moisturizer. I used to have very active, oily skin, but over the last four-five years, dryness has actually become a problem. Now that I have this shea butter, no more tight skin! I started using shea butter about two weeks ago and now I can see that my eczema is clearing up. Hopefully by week 4 or 5 it will be completely gone! My skin is smoothing in some spots and returning to a natural color (my skin is covered with stretch marks and dark spots). If this turns out for the better in a couple more weeks I am definitely going to buy some more!

This stuff is fantastic! Its the best moisturizer that I've ever used. The hang nails on my fingers are nonexistent due to this product. I will purchase the 5Ibs tub once I finish my 1lbs tub.

I use this mixed with some other oils to make my own butters. Family & fiends love it! Really helps a family member who gets very dry patches on her hands & my 92 yr. old uncle & 90 yr.s old aunt even brag about how it helps their dry skin.

I just started using this product for about a week now and I love it. I put some in the microwave to soften it and right after my shower I put some on. I use this with coconut oil and it works wonders. I have eczema and it helps to ease the redness and itching. Also use it on my hair and it really has been much softer.

I love shea butter, and have been using the ivory. I use it everywhere, face, entire body, and especially my hands & feet, which are problematically dry and cracked. The results are fantastic. Every good thing everyone says about it is true. (Except my daughter hates the smell, though it doesn't bother me. For her sake I mix a little Burt's Bees Honey & Shea Body Butter, which smells divine, by just adding a little to my already moisturized-with-shea body and rubbing in a little Burts. I bought 5 pounds of the yellow, and it works well but turns my white socks yellow, and since I use it on my face and neck it rubs off on the collar of my white uniform shirt. Not too appealing! So I'm saving the remaining pound for yellow for moisturizing my legs. I have to purchase more of the more expensive ivory, but it will not stain my clothes. Mind you, I use a LOT, so maybe light users wouldn't have this problem.

Not only is the quality excellent, but the price is awesome! I use the shea butter as a base for mixing with Vitamin, Llang Llang, Lavender, Sunflower, Aragon, coconut oils, etc. I have mixed at least two of the oils with the shea butter. I utilized the mixture on my hair and body, awesome! Love it! I have advised my friends and family to shop this site.

Man, when I used this product, no questions asked it was amazing. The thick moisture last long. Your skin feels instantly soft after using it. It melts like butter in the palm of your hand literally goes on real smooth. I use this product on my face, just a little at night to fade out my acne scars. This Shea butter does exactly that, fades my marks. I feel like finally I'm getting the flawless skin I always wanted.

I had never tried pure shea butter in bulk before and I'm really surprised at's effectiveness. I actually prefer it this way, now I have it with no perfume and have it raw. I can now make my own hand cream. but I just need to take it right from the pot and spread it over my dry areas and it melts like magic, really easy to use. Even if it's really hard, since i keep it in a cool place. I now prefer my shea butter like this. raw and natural. straight from Africa. Does wonder for the skin. I love it.

I purchased both the ivory & yellow organic Shea butter a few weeks ago. I am very sensitive to smells & the slight smell of these butters does not bother me at all. Every night after I use my cleanser & toner I scrape one of the Shea butters with the top of my finger nail & put it in the palm of my left hand. Then with my right hand I put a drop or so of Argan oil which was also purchased from Cleopatra's on the shea butter in my left palm. Then with my right forefinger I mix the two which quickly melt together. I put it all over my face, neck, elbows & heels. It may seem a bit greasy at first (because of the oil added) but rub it in well. By the morning it's soaked into the skin & only feels completely moisturized. I have been loving these products & am enjoying my glowing & softer skin.

I have read some reviews and have no idea what are people talking about heating up the product etc. I just take small ammount of butter bacause that is all you need and rubbing in between my hands and applying on skin, less than 1 minute and my skin is moiusturized and beautiful!!!!!! never used raw shea butter before. been looking for something to both moisturize skin as well as help complexion. only had for two weeks but it seems to be age defying as well.

I was having the hardest time trying to find a natural moisturizer for my 10 month old that had these dry patches on her big thighs and right before she turned a year old, I decided to order the shea butter for her dark sensitive baby skin. I am so thrilled with the results! Her dry patches are completely gone and her skin is smooth and moisturized with something natural! I also wet her short curly hair with a washcloth and rub a small amount of the shea butter in my hands and then rub it through her hair and it leaves her curls nice and moisturized as well. I also use it on my skin and hair. I wash and condition my thick curly hair and then apply a natural leave in conditioner and a natural gel to my damp hair and then I add a spritz of water to the palm melted shea butter and rub it through my hair to seal in the water, conditioner and gel. You have to wash your hair more often with the shea butter and gel mixture so that it doesn't build up or flake in your hair but I love it! I have been a patron of Cleopatras Choice for over 3 years now and I could not live with out their products! Thank you for your dedication to quality products!

I really love this shea butter. I have used other shea butter and I can tell a difference in quality between this and other brands. I use this to moisturize my skin after a shower as well as to seal moisture into my dry, kinky, 4b/c hair. I love that it doesn't just sit on top of my skin like grease but still leaves my skin moisturized. My hair is left feeling very soft and it has a shine to it, which is hard to achieve with hair that isn't straight. I'm not in love with the smell, but I'm a bit used to it from using other brands of shea butter.

This is a great product was introduced to it by my hairbraider. I use it for a skin moisturiser and for my hair. I have provided it to friends who suffer from fry scaly skin who cannot beleive how their skin has changed since using it. There is nothing better than a pure organic product. Thank you

There is absolutely NOTHING like this to help cronic dry skin. Having to use chemo meds, my skin (as a side effect) became unbelievably dry. This has helped more than you can imagine.

I have been using Shea Butter for one week. It is very greasy, but if you put it on lightly it soaks in. I use it on my face and body. I have sensitive skin where most things break me out, I have no problem with this.

I have used shea butter before and I have a small heater in my bathroom and it helps when I am trying to soften the shea butter. For this order I googled raw, fair trade shea butter and this brand came up. it was easy to order and the order came quickly. The shea butter is fantastic and during this horribly dry summer in Colorado the shea butter has really helped with the dryness of my skin. It isn't the most convienent to use as you have to soften it but it is fair trade which I appreciate and it is so helpful for the skin that it is worth the small amount of work you have to do. I don't want a bunch of chemicals in my life and I am trying to reduce the amount a step at a time. I will order again from this company. I only gave it 4 stars because it does take a few minutes to use but what it does for the skin is 5 stars

I will be reordering both the cleanser and liquid foundation very shortly - love them both!!! The Shea butter I do not like AT ALL - I've tried to use it a number of times but it is very hard to work with (hard even when I heat it a bit!) and I honestly don't care much for the smell (my twin granddaughters have told me I āstink" when I have used it!). I still have about Ā¾ of the container left and I doubt I will ever use it - I won't buy it again! This is the only product purchased from your company that I have ever NOT liked. The huge majority are absolutely wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone (and have!).

I ordered this and a pound of the ivory shea butter. There was a slight problem with shipping, but when I called the customer service representative was extremely helpful and courteous, and made things right. The shea butter itself is GREAT. I have really sensitive skin and allergies. There are a lot of products that actually make my skin feel drier. After i discovered shea butter, there is nothing else that I use. The Cleopatra's Choice product is wonderful for my skin. A small amount goes a very long way. I have already recommended the product and Cleopatra's Choice to several friends, and given a couple of people a bit to take home and try for themselves, and I will continue to do so.

I'm a swimmer and I'm in the pool for over 2 hours a day. My hair and skin were always itchy and very dry. I LOVE this! I will use directly out of the shower and it works wonders! I scrape it out with a butter knife and warm it up between my hands. My skin has never felt better, can use on face and all over the body. I also live in one of the dryest locations in the United States, Las Vegas. Humidity was at 3% and it was 104 degrees. I really needed to find a product like this, and I finally have :)

I recently moved to West Texas where its very dry and very hot. Because it is easily absorbed into the skin it doesn't sit on the surface and prevent your skin from breathing and cooling itself it soaks right in and makes your skin feel and look supple ...even in the desert!! I LOVE IT ! I will never go back to lotin again. It take time to get use to it because it is hard to apply. I had surgery on my foot , ankle, and legs due to a car accident I start using Shea Butter on my scars for 2 years now, Now you could barley see my scars. I'm so thankful for the Shea Butter !! Now i will try it in my hair, i have very dry hair hope i will get great results back just like i got great results back on my skin.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It takes some getting used to bc it can be hard to apply and the smell is interesting. But, the scent goes away and the texture changes with heat from your hands. I have VERY dry skin and have been using this in the morning and at night. I swear my skin is softer throughout the day. It says that it doesn't clog pores so I've used it on my face. I have broken out in small bumps but nothing bad. I will say that my smile lines have gotten alot softer in just the weeks use. I may discontinue using it on my face and only spot apply it on my wrinkles, BUT it makes my face feel soooooo soft.

This is a fabulous item! I love it! I knew I would! It's rich and creamy (once you work it in your hand's a bit) and really moisturising It leaves my skin feeling really soft and I'm 51! I even have my boyfriend using it on his hand's after some manly gardening! I will continue to but this item as long as it's available.

Makes the skin really soft and improves scars

I brought this product originally for my daugher. She had some scarring on her legs from mosqitoe bites, scraps and scratches from when she was younger. I got the shea butter to help heal and moisturize her skin. But I too started using it for my skin, hair, nails, foot heels and face. Works wonders on my stretch marks that I had from child birth and weight loss. Truly recommend.

So I did immense research before I decided buying this product. I had gotten eczema and thought the steroid creams were too expensive (and very small in quantity). I decided to use this instead. Weeks before, I had used coconut oil, but it was too greasy, so I mixed them together and it was a fabulous cream (i.e., coconut oil and Shea butter). I used it right after I showered to seal in the moisture. Pretty sticky and greasy at first, but I think my body got used to it overtime. I later added glycerin and a bit of olive oil in the mix and, I must say, it is a wonderful concoction. Works like a cream you would buy at a retail store, only 100% better. If anyone thinks the Shea butter takes long to absorb into the skin, try mixing it with other oils, especially olive oil or glycerin (gives it a smoother, creamier feel). Amazing combination :) I also appreciate the price. I hope it does not change. Thanks Cleopatra!

This is the worse smelling product I have ever smelled in my life. I would like to send it back but don't know the policy. I hate it and more hate it. I would rate it at the lowest level.

Ordered the ivory organic shea butter, but thought it was a little grainy. I then ordered the yellow grade A shea butter and was pleased with this product. The nutty scent takes some gettting use to but after using this product every day I really grew to enjoy the scent. It melts in my hands and is very easily applied. Does wonders on my dry hands.

I love this shea butter. It is so soft and beautiful I use it as a night cream and for my hands for a hand cream. As it is 100% natural I am not concerned about any type of chemcial being absorbed into my body.

I got this to help my psoriasis along with the sea salts. After two weeks, my skins worse. So disappointed. I love the smell. It's very greasy and never absorbs. I believe it absorbs all over your clothing and wherever you sit or lay down. The next day after I take a shower, my skins back to dry.

My nearly six year old son has had contact dermatitis on his foot for nearly three years and had been treating it with little success with steroid creams. I have been soaking his foot in dead sea salt water and applying this butter for two weeks and it looks better than ever. I gave four stars because the smell is a little strong, however, I do prefer a natural smell than one with artificial fragrances which are terrible for you. Also, it takes a couple minutes to rub in. I will purchase again.

I have been using this Shea Butter for just a few days and OMG it is amazing! Yes it takes a liiiiittttle while to absorb (will be trying the ivory one soon) but it is very good!! Leaves my skin SOOO SOFT!!!! I look forward to continued use and the resulting benefits!

Results are great! I place the container in the sun so the product softens for easier application. I added vanilla to give it a more pleasing sent. It works wonderfully on my dry skin and highly recommend.
